A fresh link of repaint and an epic rally!
Wildlife sighting of the month!
In February we began to get regular visits from our new resident….a Caracal! A very secretive member of the cat family, we have yet to photograph this visitor but have been spying it from the master bedroom window around 6-8am over several mornings. We will be setting up a few new camera traps soon to try and catch it on camera and in action.
Rally action
In mid-March guests enjoyed the first ever Naivasha-only World Rally Championships. Packing 20 special stages into four days of action and thrills, the rally is not to be missed. Smaller events are on the horizon so car-lovers keep an eye out! Enjoy this Oscar-worthy video by clicking on the link in the screenshot below - just stunning.
A freshly painted house!
The whole house was repainted in March, a much-needed refreshment for tired walls which had taken quite a battering from toddlers, dogs and parties! Along with new bedsheets, shiny new Kitengela glasses, and new mugs from Gilgil-based Bakuli Blu, everything is that bit nicer. Although the scuffs and marks were often a sign of good fun, it was time for a little bit of love to be shown. Everything is now looking much brighter, just in time for the approaching Easter holidays.
